Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the quiet-gleam website (quiet-gleam.com) or enrolling in our financial education programmes, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or services.

Services Description

quiet-gleam provides financial literacy education programmes for children and teenagers in Oxford, United Kingdom. Our services include:

  • Group financial education programmes
  • One-to-one mentoring sessions
  • Family finance workshops
  • Educational materials and resources

Eligibility

Our programmes are designed for children and teenagers aged 7-18. Enrolment must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. By enrolling a child, you confirm that:

  • You are the parent or legal guardian of the child
  • You have authority to consent to their participation
  • All information provided is accurate and complete
  • The child meets the age requirements for the selected programme

Enrolment and Payment

Booking Process

Programme enrolment is confirmed upon:

  • Submission of the enrolment form
  • Receipt of our confirmation email
  • Payment of the programme fee

Pricing

All prices are stated in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change, but enrolled participants will pay the price confirmed at the time of booking.

Payment Terms

Payment is due within 7 days of receiving our confirmation email. Failure to pay within this timeframe may result in loss of the reserved place.

Payment Methods

We accept bank transfers and major credit/debit cards. Payment details will be provided in your confirmation email.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation by Participant

  • 7+ days before programme start: Full refund minus £25 administrative fee
  • 3-6 days before start: 50% refund
  • Less than 3 days or after start: No refund, but you may transfer to a future session subject to availability

Cancellation by quiet-gleam

We reserve the right to cancel programmes due to insufficient enrolment, instructor illness, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases:

  • Full refund will be provided
  • We will offer alternative dates where possible
  • We are not liable for any consequential losses

Missed Sessions

Refunds are not provided for missed sessions. We will provide session materials and brief catch-up support where feasible.

Programme Conduct

Participant Behaviour

Participants are expected to:

  • Treat instructors and other participants with respect
  • Attend sessions punctually
  • Engage constructively with programme activities
  • Follow safety and behavioural guidelines

Removal from Programme

We reserve the right to remove a participant from a programme without refund if:

  • Their behaviour disrupts the learning environment
  • They pose a safety risk to themselves or others
  • False information was provided during enrolment

Safeguarding

Intellectual Property

All content on our website and in our programmes, including text, images, logos, course materials, and educational resources, is the property of quiet-gleam and protected by copyright law.
